Alzheimer awareness is always very dear to the hearts of the Hillcrest staff and as a result, they have held several fundraisers and have now joined the 2017 Official Partners of the Alzheimer’s Association. Today, 5.5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s dementia and bringing awareness is vital to those whose family and friends are affected by it.

In 1983, President Ronald Reagan even designated November for National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month and purple is the color that’s used to show support. When Reagan made that decision, less than two million Americans were diagnosed.

Hillcrest asks everyone to join them in support in generating Alzheimer’s awareness.
